That's fine Well first I make the basic shape and fill it with a dark red/orange color, apply some textures and work on the textures highlights and shadows for folds and whatnot. For example, to make something look folded, I did a highlight stroke and a shadow of that stroke so it makes it seem like it pops out. There's a lot of different folds and stuff so it takes some time. I just did it one by one. The rips are just an eraser of a brush I made, click then drag down to get those ripped lines you see on the bottom of the curtains, and holes in them. Apply some gradients and change the blending mode to soft light or something to play with the highlights and colors and add more very subtle textures here and there. I guess you have to know what you're doing to get it all just right. That's about it really!
Good work. Not sure about the readability of text and maybe a bit dark in some places, but this is not usability site of course. I'm really mad at DA because of what they did with deviations in full view when they don't fit into browser. Really mad.
